Sip and Shop, White Merlot & Santa Too!
Happy Holidays
Sip and Shop - Sat. Dec. 10th 1p-5p
We've made a lot of friends over the years at the farmers market and baby, when it's cold outside, they like it inside. So we've invited these artisan vendors to the winery this Saturday, December 10th to display their goods from 1p-5p. Come sample, sip and shop with Chocolate Lab, DiFranco's Fresh Italian, Dirty Girl Soap, Kosmima Jewelry, Rural Route Farms and Solstice Candles and build your own gift baset if you wish.
White Merlot Release Party with Special Guest Santa Sat. Dec 17th 1p-5p
By December 17 Santa may need to double check which list those kids are on. Bring them to Bonacquisti Wine Company for a cup of hot cocoa and Christmas stories told by St. Nick. Don't forget your camera. Meanwhile, you get a break from the hectic pace of last minute shopping and can enjoy a glass of your favorite beverage.
Since it is the Release Party, we suggest our White Merlot. White Merlot is one of the few wines that we opened with five years ago, and has become one of our most requested the minute it runs out. Beautifully festive with its coloring, this is a bold and spicy dark-style rose. Nice floral and strawberry aromas and slightly sweet makes this the go to wine you keep in your refrigerator.
Introduction to Wine Courses
The Filet Mignon is cooked to perfection. The Foie Gras redefines delectable. And the boxed-wine… well, it’s reddish. Explore a world beyond cardboard wine with Bonacquisti Wine Company, Denver’s Urban Winery, and our 90-Minute Introductory Wine Class.
Taught by Winemaker and Executive Sommelier Paul Bonacquisti, attendees will explore the history of wine making, the art of wine tasting, and learn how to pair wine with food. Never feel like a wine novice again after learning how to swirl, sniff, and taste like a true connoisseur, and counter many of those wine myths. The class takes place among the tanks and barrels in our working winery where you will tour the process of crushing, fermenting, bottling, and of course, tasting.
Expect generous pours and formal understanding of three wines, while nibbling on select Colorado charcuterie and cheeses, tasty nuts, olives and breads. Additional complimentary tastings will be available at the counter following the class.
Cost is $50 per person, advanced payment required, gift certificates available. Class must have a minimum of three attendees or will be reschedule. January dates and times are:
Saturday January 14 1pm-2:30pm
Thursday January 19 6pm-7:30pm
Saturday January 28 1pm-2:30pm
